Elevate Sports HDL is a sports coaching business set up by Jodie Hood. Jodie is a qualified PE teacher with lots of teaching experience and sports coaching.
Jodie has a 3 year old son who has Hyperplastic Left Heart Syndrome and it has empowered her to make her work fit around him and her 2 daughters Harriet and Daisy. Their names make up the HDL of the business name which also stands for Healthy Driven Lifestyle.
The Elevate logo has a mountain which of course is symbolic of elevation but the main reason it appears as part of the brand is because Louis is known as a little mountain mover and the heart within the mountain is to represent his heart journey and the CHD community and in time a proportion of profits will be donated to heart charities.
The business has been running for just over a year and it mainly sees Jodie working in a primary school delivering their PE curriculum and extra curriculum programme but also sees her running many football sessions in the community and holiday sports club days.
After a few months of running Jodie also created a football club called Elevate Pencoys YFC based out of Pencoys and because of her love for her Goddaughter Faith, Forever Faith Foundation is on the children’s kit where they shout forever Faith at the start of the matches.
Forever Faith Foundation is displayed on our girls under 8s team kit and the club hoodies and Elevate is very proud to be in partnership with FFF.
On the girls sleeves is a heart with the infinity symbol and the words βForever Faith.β One of the girls shared with Jodie that when they look at this it makes them feel brave! When Jodie shared this with me we agreed that this is what Faithβs legacy is all about and her magic is all around us all of the time.Β
Ocean plays for the under 8s and she proudly wears her sisters name on her kit.

Liam has been behind the lens for the last five years, he has two young children with his beautiful partner, Liv.
Liam is a Cornish Landscape and Wedding photographer and loves exploring Cornwall.
You could always find Liam outdoors as a kid, having fun and enjoying all kinds of sports, skateboarding, surfing and bodybuilding to name just a few. He spent his 20s abroad living, teaching people how to windsurf in the summer and snowboarding in the winter.
Itβs only the past five years that he has found his love and enjoyment of taking pictures, and he has grown from strength to strength.
We are so excited to have him with us, offering an hour-long photoshoot creating everlasting memories, whether that be on the beach, in the woods or somewhere else. You will find that Liam is very approachable and relaxed and will make you feel at ease and it is here where the magic happen.
Last year a very good friend of ours arranged for the girls and I to meet with Liam and have a photoshoot at Godrevy and those pictures will be a magical memory for us, for this we will be forever grateful. So a big thank-you as well to Liam for this.
When I approached Liam to ask if heβd like to be a part of one of Forever Faiths Foundations aims, which is to be able to support families by offering them a grant to create everlasting memories he said Yes straight away, his response βcount me inβ and βletβs do this!β So we are both very excited to start to make this happen!
